Tower of London

With the health care system on strike for the day, T got off at noon and we headed to the Tower of London.  It was actually one of the neatest things that I have done on this trip.  I am not a big 'museum person,' but I have this strong interest in Kings, Queens, Princesses, Princes, and the whole British Monarchy.  So, this was right up my ally! T also enjoyed it and couldn't wait to see how they tortured people in the deep dark dungeons below... very creepy!

Here are a few pictures from our time at the Tower of London!

T in front of the Tower of London before entering
Lions, Tigers, and Bears... Oh my!
A replica of  King Henry's bedroom

This was inside of the Tower of London.  900 people actually still live here today and this is their little village.
King Henry's sword... Taller than T!
Some wierd dragon that they made to scare off villians

We couldn't take pictures inside, but the Crown Jewels were AMAZING!

We are off to Amsterdam today! Much to do! Stay tuned!
